The Arena
Settle a duel or a 6v6 grudge without a permanent death. Players choose the teams and rules; the game handles the arena and its separate Elo ladder.
Issuing a challenge
- Use
challenge <opponents> with <teammates>to set up teams of up to 6 a side. - Optional condition flags, agreed up front:
-npno potions,-nsno scrolls,-nwno wimpy (no auto-flee). - You must be at 75% health to issue a challenge; the challenged must be at two-thirds. No sniping the wounded.
- Each participant can
acceptordecline. Once everyone accepts, the match enters the queue. Only one match runs at a time. - Combatants teleport to random rooms in the arena zone and hunt each other. The match ends when one team has no one left standing inside; the result is announced on the [ARENA] channel and everyone lands in the Arena Lounge.
- Arena deaths do not count as real deaths. You are revived afterward, though your rating and pride may need attention. Check the ladder with
